Oostenburg forms part of the Eastern Islands (Oostelijke Eilanden), which were partly created in the IJ around 1650 and partly dug out of what were then meadows to the east of the city. Over the coming years, Oostenburg will be developed into a bold new city district with around 1,800 homes.

The former industrial site Oostenburg Noord is one of the Eastern Islands. The site lies between the Amsterdam/Utrecht railway line, the Oostenburgervaart, the Oostenburgerdwarsvaart and the Wittenburgervaart.

Tram line 26 at Rietlandpark takes you to Amsterdam Centraal Station within 3 minutes. Tram line 10 reaches Weesperplein, with its metro and tram connections, within 4 minutes.

By car
Leidseplein is approximately 5 minutes further on. By car, take exit S114 on the A10, after which you can park next to the building in the car park within 3 minutes. It is possible to take out a subscription at the Q-Park car park.
